The Diocese of Verona offers the faithful – particularly foreigners – the opportunity to participate in a multilingual mass. The Word of the Lord will be proclaimed in German, English, Spanish, French, Italian and Latin, and the congregation will be able to listen to simultaneous translation on earphones.
Musicians and singers will perform music pieces from various stylistic periods, from Gregorian chants to Renaissance compositions, before (ANTE MISSAM) or after (POST MISSAM) the celebration.

The church of San Tomaso Becket or Cantuariense (14th century) is famous for its organ (G. Bonatti, 1716), played by thirteen-year-old Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart on 7 January 1770. Mozart’s initials are engraved on the instrument case: W.S.M. (Wolfgang Salisburgensis Mozart).

The “Mozartian” musical programme carried out before as well as during the Mass will pay homage to “Wolferl, the musical genius from Salzburg.”
